An exhibition that pays tribute to the human complexities of life and death, fate and destiny, determination and chance through the intricate, complex, and multilayered lens of a poem and musical composition by British artist Freddie Mercury that has transcended generations and eluded their grasp on its content and inherent message.

OPEN CALL for the Exhibition BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY curated by Lichtundfire’s gallery director Priska Juschka, organized through LICHTUNDFIREcuratorial – a part of Lichtundfire – featuring carefully curated, larger exhibitions and adding them to the gallery’s curatorial concept.
EXHIBITION CONCEPT
Inspired by the eponymous musical composition and its lyrics, the exhibition ranges similarly across many different often not easily to be associated visual languages and concepts, Minimalism, Language-based Art, Color Field, Geometric and Lyrical Abstraction, Process Art, Conceptual Representation, Up and Recycled work, and many mediums, painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed-media, collage, works on paper, photography, digital art- if it can be shown in an exhibition context (no film, video, or NFTs).
