From The Curators’ Statement:
“I AM A WOMAN is making a statement but from a discourse of strength proliferated from overcoming. A collective effort of engagement as women in the tough balancing placement we experienced simultaneously with/without/within the establishment – confident in our own value and bringing forth art as a result of that resilience in the face of adversity.”

As opposed to making a show a reactionary show, steeped in current politics, I wanted to present something different with my co-curators.
