• Artist Reception: Wednesday, September 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM

Lichtundfire is pleased to present COLLECTIVE PALIMPSESTS – Traces of Infinite Consciousness, a focused group exhibition by 5 artists with works in all media, painting, works on paper, and sculpture, reflecting the complex, interrelated relationships and connections between their concepts, mediums, and practices.

The artists in the exhibition, by way of structure and texture, re-imagine and re- contextualize their mediums while acknowledging familiar methods and artistic practices preceding their own.

The exhibition emphasizes their interrelated connections that point to a ‘contemporary lateral connectiveness’ by excavating the multitude of fragmented layers of preceding information, experience and memory.
