Lichtundfire is happy to present and welcomes all to PANEL on ART CRITICISM with Q&A and RECEPTION moderated by artist, curator and art critic William Corwin (Brooklyn Rail, Art Papers, Arcade Project); with poet and art critic Jonathan Goodman (Arte Fuse, Brooklyn Rail, Sculpture, Tussle, WhiteHot Magazine); artist, editor and publisher of Tussle Laura Horne; and independent curator and writer Nina Mdivani on the occasion of the 6-Year Gallery Anniversary Exhibition STRATOSPHERE with abstract work in various media that addresses conceptually the fragile equilibrium between the atmospheric layers, and ultimately, the earth’s and life’s- as we know it- dependency on the balancing act within and between them.

Lichtundfire is happy to present and welcomes all to STRATOSPHERE, an exhibition with abstract work in various media, paintings, photography, sculpture, and works on paper, that addresses conceptually the fragile equilibrium between the atmospheric layers, and ultimately, the earth’s and life’s- as we know it- dependency on the balancing act within and between them.
While marking the gallery’s 6-Year Anniversary since its first exhibition in November 2015 on 175 Rivington Street, this exhibition expands, both theoretically and visually, the concept of lateral connections between the individual works, their specific media and methods of expression, and the overall lateral connectivity of all.
